Finally, Joomla! Day has arrived on the eastern shores of the United States.  On Saturday, October 13, Joomla! users from across the western US will come to Google in New York City to share knowledge, meet other Joomla! users, and participate in the Joomlasphere at the free Joomla!Day USA East.

This convergence will be held in pseudo "un-conference" format, meaning that you, the community, determine what will be discussed, who will speak, and what you'll take away from it.  We encourage you to submit your ideas for sessions to our Joomla! Day USA East wiki which will be up soon.  Additionally, we'll be posting a few of the great speakers already slated for the day, including members of the Joomla core team and well-known members of the community!

Registration for this un-conference has now opened, which will be limited to 125 individuals.  Why?  The space we have been offered by Google is limited.  The focus of this Joomla! Day is for users and practitioners in the eastern US, and we want to have a truly collaborative, interactive, and exciting Joomla!
